June Energy Update
What Tarot and Numerology Have to Say
This year has been a wild ride. It feels to me like an over-achieving roller coaster ride full of energetic waves of exhilaration sandwiched between some moments of quiet desperation.
If we look at the numbers for June according to numerology and the associated Tarot cards, we may not really have any relief in June.
As I have explained in each of my monthly energy chats, 2026 is the start of an entire new nine-year cycle in numerology. The numbers of 2026 add up to 10, which reduces to 1. As we live our lives, both collectively as a human species and as individual expressions of consciousness, we travel through nine-year cycles. Our own personal birth date affects what year each of us are navigating, but the collective cycle affects us all in some way.
If you want to delve into your own personal cycles and how your own life is reflecting both your individual numerology and personal Tarot card associations, you may want to schedule a private session. I do sessions by Zoom, phone, and in-person in Winchester Virginia.
In these posts, I share how the collective consciousness of humanity may be affected by the energetic weather, and how you as an individual may be navigating your own weather depending on your own journey through life and your personal numerology and soul plan.
June is the sixth month of the year, and when we add the 6 for June to the 10 for 2026, we arrive at 16, which reduces to 7 (1+6=7). Both the number 16 and the number 7 are significant.
Here is a short description of each number at play here.
1: new beginnings, leadership, authority, the self, the individual, new chapter, new journey
6: relationships of all kinds (see last month’s post for a longer chat on this number)
7: introspection, spirituality, thought, thinking about things in a different way, planning, navigating challenges
A lot of people think of the number 7 as a lucky number, but I have never seen that to be particularly accurate. Everyone I know or have worked with who has a significant aspect to the number 7 does not necessarily have an easy life.
All of the ‘teen’ numbers are highly karmic, but I have noticed that the 16 is particularly unsettling. If we are extremely focused on security, stability, and predictability, the number 16 is not a welcome number.
I always associate 16 with its corresponding Tarot card. Here we have the 16 card, the Tower, and the 7 card, the Chariot. Neither of these is referencing a walk in the clouds or a time of rest or reflection.
Let’s start with the Tower. Towers typically symbolize a structure of some kind which has been built from the ground up, probably over a period of time. The Tower card in the Tarot shows this structure being struck by lightening and the foundations being destroyed completely. We have two people falling out of windows. We have lightening, thunder, and a crown that is flying through the air. The sky is dark and ominous.
This card and what it symbolizes is likely to show up sometime in June. Maybe for you personally, or maybe collectively for us as a human community. We know that in many parts of the world, this card tends to reflect a long and arduous journey of uncertainty. Here in the US, we are experiencing an upset in how we live our day-to-day lives. In June, this theme may feel more relevant or significant.
The Tower card often shows up as natural weather or Earth eruptions. We see the lightening and dark skies above and the destruction of the structure coming from below the Earth. Earthquakes, volcano eruptions, or other weather events are always a possibility.
The Tower is not all chaos and destruction. This card often shows up when someone is moving, because when you shift where you live, you have to pack up everything you own and move it to another location. It is not necessarily comfortable or easy. It could show up as road construction, some sort of delay or upset that shifts your original plans .
I typically advise my clients not to buy or occupy homes or businesses where the numbers of the location add up to 16. You may not have a joyful or pleasant experience there. You may seem to have unexpected expenses or repairs regularly.
On a soul level, this card could represent a belief system that you discover is flawed. Years ago when I awakened to the realization that the church that had been my foundation for thirty-something years was built on myths and outright lies, my entire world fell apart. It took me years to rebuild the spiritual path that I now enjoy. This month, you may find some truth that completely erupts your foundation.
If you are realizing that the spiritual foundation you have always trusted is being shown to be a bit flawed, you may enjoy one of the two books I wrote on religious reconstruction.
With the significance of the crown flying through the air on this card, there is always the possibility that some sort of leadership is shifted. This could be governmental, religious, social or maybe just someone you trusted or depended upon. Maybe you discover that a trusted advisor or leader is not as authentic or trustworthy as you believed. Maybe there is a shift in some sort of top-down authority figure.
I have spent a lot of time on the Tower card. Let’s shift to the Chariot. In this card, we have a guy attempting to move forward, but he is being stalled by two sphinxes that are sitting down. These two sphinxes are white and black, and seem to be looking in different directions.
The chariot card suggests that if you are attempting to move forward in some area of life, you may want to address what is holding you back or causing a delay. Sphinx symbolism often relates to an energy that guards or protects something or someone. Because a sphinx has a human head and the body of a lion, there may be multiple energies at play keeping you from moving ahead. Sometimes the energies are elusive or hard to read. You never really know what these sphinxes are thinking about or why they are there in the first place.
If you are planning a road trip, the Chariot often shows up. This means that travel by car is possible, but that you should do a visit to a mechanic to make sure everything is in good working order. There may be delays or detours, or possibly road construction or an accident to navigate. Make sure you allow extra time for any possible unexpected events which pop up unexpectedly.
For me, I have two road trips planned. I am taking my own advice and making sure I employ my Angels to watch out for us as we travel.
This month, it may be advisable to slow down, spend a good deal of time planning or engaging in your spiritual practice. Decide to think, contemplate, and expect the unexpected.
Here are the minor cards of the Tarot related to the number 7
The Seven of Cups suggests you may be having difficulty making a decision or staying grounded in everyday life. Watch out for the tendency to live in a fantasy world or engage in activities that take you out of your body. On the positive side, you may have interactions with Spirit Beings, Angels, or a significant spiritual figure.
The Seven of Pentacles is advising you to do some thinking about investments, career paths, or anything that relates to Earth life. Don’t make any risky investments or spontaneous decisions. Think before you act.
The Seven of Wands is saying you may feel backed in a corner this month. You may feel like you are fighting an invisible enemy. You may resist your current reality. You may be battling an enemy that is elusive. Maybe you are fighting a system rather than a person.
The Seven of Swords warns you to be aware of those who are not authentic or truthful. Someone may be lying or stealing. On a more positive spin to this card, you may be having to navigate multiple situations at once or being called upon to juggle multiple details to a situation. Bottom line though, don’t trust people who have not proven their trustworthiness.
We will get through June.
Just be ready to address whatever situations arise with dignity and grace.
