Girl Talk
Channeled Wisdom on Healing Female Ancestral Trauma
For the past couple of months, I have enjoyed an uptick in opportunities to channel High Vibrational Voices of Elevated Consciousness. Some of them are Angels. My favorite and most frequent Angel who seems to enjoy talking is Archangel Michael, although some of the other Angels show up on occasion. Jesus also shows up semi-regularly.
I admit that most of the Ones I speak to happen to have male energy. Even though we can probably all agree that most of the time, Angels are genderless, they seem to exude certain attributes that make us associate a gender with their energy.
I have been pleasantly surprised this week that I was greeted twice by the energy that identified herself as Mary Magdalena.
The first time, I had been invited to a piece of property in our area which has been a hotseat for spiritual experiences of all kinds for decades. I had enjoyed limited access to the land, offering readings or spirit circles once in a while, but was pleasantly surprised when I was invited to take a tour of the land with one of the caretakers recently.
During one portion of the tour, I was introduced to a section that had been dedicated to Mary Magdalena, where those who were attracted to her frequency could come and sit with her. We had not stayed long in that area of the property, but kept walking. When we had come to a different section of the land where there seemed to be a noticeable shift in energy, I stood for a moment and tuned in. I saw Mary approach at a distance.
At first, I did not know it was her. I admit despite many years of channeling and connecting to Spirit, I had sensed her presence only once or twice. She was not one who frequently showed up for a chat. Initially, I just felt a female presence that seemed benign. I invited her in and quickly realized it was Mary Magdalena.
I won’t share that message here, as it was more of a personal message to the woman who was showing me around the property. However, I will say that she did acknowledge her gifts and encourage her to continue to step into her power and own her place in the lineage of strong female spiritual leaders.
Only a few days later, one of my regular clients came for a session.
Mary Magdalena showed up again, to my surprise.
My client had come to address ancestral wounds regarding mothers and daughters. She was noticing that there seemed to be a pattern of difficulties in her ancestral lineage in regards to the disfunction between mothers and daughters, and wanted to know if we could work on healing this.
As I tuned in, I fully expected to be greeted by this client’s female ancestors, so I was a bit surprised when Mary Magdalena showed up.
I want to share a small portion of the session. I removed any personal information that was specific to my client, but I thought some of the information was profound and very relevant to the opportunity that we who have incarnated as female in this lifetime have to really heal the wounds we have incurred just by the mere fact that we are female.
This in no way discounts wounds that are specifically related to those who incarnate as males. It is possible that I address those in the future.
It feels like this period of time we are navigating in our evolution as a human species, those of us who are females are being called to address and heal the trauma related to our gender. For centuries, females have been used as property, as assistants, and even in servitude to men who enjoy much more freedom to exhibit their own personal power.
The current focus on the Epstein files and on the human trafficking epidemic are offering us an opportunity to focus on healing that wound and acknowledging the perception that woman’s greatest attribute is to offer themselves on the altar of men’s pleasures. Men in the past have normally enjoy a ‘free pass’ in these exchanges of energy. Women who suffered were often blamed for the exchange, or their suffering marginalized or discounted.
It is fairly easy to identify a wound that occurs as a result of the disparagy in male-female relationships. Much attention has been placed on addressing that wound.
This is where Mary Magdalena showed up in this session for my client and began to talk about the wound that occurs between females with other females.
One of the deepest wounds we as females are challenged with healing is a deep wound that has taken place between women: whether it’s mother to daughter, sister to sister, or female friend to female friend, is because as females, we should be one another’s safe space. We should not need to fear being able to trust one of our own. But unfortunately, this is not the case. We are constantly in competition to one another, whether we are comparing our physical appearance with other women, whether we are competing for attention from a male, or whether we feel safe sharing our deepest thoughts and emotions with another female, for fear that we will be discovered to be some sort of imposter. We are distrustful of other women. Often, we are tempted to compare ourselves to one another. We judge our differences rather than celebrate them.
Here are some insights from Mary Magdalena.
One of the reasons why the mother wound or the female gender wound cuts so deep is because we exist at a different frequency than the male side of the human genome. By different I don’t mean better or worse, just different. Our frequency is very different. We live in the level of feeling and emotion and we hold the energy of humankind in our womb. We hold everything very deep. And so, when we are wounded by a man, it’s almost like we can hold that wound.
We can deal with that wound, but when we are wounded by a woman, it cuts us to a deeper level. And when we are wounded by our mother or our daughter, that wound cuts to a deeper level than even just woman to woman. This is somebody who shares your DNA, shares your history, and even shares part of your mission and your reason for being here. As a daughter, you have inherited everything your mother didn’t heal. As a mother, you can see your own unhealed wounds in your daughter. And so, yes, these wounds cut deeper than almost any other one. This wound seems to pass along generation to generation to generation, even past the normal seventh generation.
The common belief that after seven generations, things tend to resolve, but mother wounds, because women hold things so deeply in their souls, they cut deeper and are harder to heal. It cuts into the identity. It cuts into the soul. It cuts into the DNA. It imprints in the blood and passes down. And so, it is very deep.
I’m not saying that it is impossible to heal. But it feels more difficult than the wound between a man and a woman or a man and a man.
But yes, it can be healed. It takes a lot of focus. It doesn’t necessarily have to be a long process. It depends on the woman and how that particular woman holds the wound in her soul.
But, yes, the truth is that love heals. That deep love is able to heal a wound more quickly than through any other method. Divine love. And it’s not the Divine Love that you think of as being male or female, necessarily. But if it were, it would be more the feminine aspect of the Divine.
Because it is a very feminine wound.
But it can be done. And it needs to be done. One of the reasons it has been so hard is because the energy that exists in the Earth plane whose job it is to keep humankind from becoming enlightened, they know. They know that this is most formidable enemy. Because once the women wake up and realize their power and they’re able to transmit that power into their DNA and pass it along to their children, the power of evil goes away.
They will have no power. Once the women remember who they are and learn to heal their bloodline, male and female will balance and the power of evil will lose its hold.
And so, yes, the difficulties between a mother and daughter are passed down through the generations, but they also come into life in each carnation and become triggered and re-wounded from outside sources who are intent on keeping women subjective. And unawake.
Because much power is derived from the life force of women. And many men who find themselves in great positions of power in the world, they increase their power through their oppression of women.
That’s coming to an end. Yes. And so, it is time for the women to awaken. And to heal the deep wounds in their womb in their femininity. And stand up and decide to no longer allow themselves to be used as feeding sources for men in power.
And in doing this, we must heal to such a degree that we’re not fighting against each other.
And so, yes, it’s the mother wound, but it’s also the female gender wound. And it is an attempt to keep us asleep. An attempt to harvest our power.
Client:
We have we’ve all been male and female, though, throughout our multiple lifetimes, right? Is it my understanding that we signed up to be females now?
Mary:
So, in the evolution of your soul. Normally, you will choose a male or a female body depending on the area of soul growth you want to focus on. And so, when you choose to incarnate as a male, your soul lessons are going to be different than when you choose to incarnate as a female.
(I will interject here and mention that she didn’t really address the issues of gender identity. It was not the focus of this session with my client so I didn’t think to ask her.)
The goal, of course, is equality and balance.
But we are not there yet.
At this point my client wanted to shift and speak to her female ancestors. We chatted with them, and did some healing work on individual wounds that had been triggered long ago and yet still showed up in the life experiences of the women and girls in her family.
I found it interesting that Mary Magdalena showed up twice in one week to offer love and support to women who needed some encouragement in their work with healing and self-empowerment as a woman.
I wanted to share this excerpt from my time in channeling Mary Magdalena because I do believe it is time for us to heal these deep wounds that seem to pass along through our DNA. It is time for us to join hands and really see each other. Support each other.
Each one of us has individual gifts and abilities and a unique mission to complete here in our Earth experience.
One of those missions is to shift patterns in our bloodlines that have perpetuated through centuries of programming. It is time to celebrate our diversity. We each have a piece of the puzzle that is unique and also compatible to our collective ascension to living life on the Earth and yet existing in a state of bliss that we could compare to Heaven.
Bringing Heaven to Earth is not a pipe dream or a hope for some point in time in the future. We create it by collectively dreaming it into existence. We live it every morning when we appreciate the sunrise or scent of early morning dew in the air. As we walk through our days, we breathe in the joy of existing in such a beautiful world. This is how we create Heaven on Earth.
We release the pain and struggle of our collective past. We realize that Divine Love is a protection field all on its own, for if we are living in a frequency of Divine Love, nothing that is not love can continue to exist.
If there are those who are either in your life or who you have found it necessary to remove from your life, know that everything ends up working out the way it is supposed to. Healing these wounds does not mean you need to make contact with those who have wounded you. It just means you acknowledge the wound and acknowledge their right to walk their path the way they have decided to do it.
We don’t have to fear healing because we are going to be forced to try to make amends with someone who may not be interested in reconciliation or who may not be in a place to resolve the rift.
Love is acceptance.
Let us decide to love and support one another the best way we can. Let us refrain from judgement.
Accept everyone for who they are in this current reality. Accept their perception even if it is at odds with yours.
July is a month to do a deep dive into healing relationships. This week I am focused on addressing wounds between females, whether it is mother-daughter, friend to friend, or however that shows up.
If you wonder how to heal, or want to address specific wounds and work on healing them, I would suggest finding someone who specializes in this work, whether that is me, another healer, a therapist, a spiritual counselor in your particular faith, or on your own.
You can make an appointment with me by clicking on the link below. I offer in person or virtual sessions. I don’t pressure you into coming to see me more than once, but healing is a process, not a one-time-fix-all fast-acting pill.
As individual souls navigating lessons and experiences in our own unique way, we all have different programs, wounds, and patterning that seems to pass down through our bloodline. If we observed our mother suffering from a particular pattern, either we will repeat it or fight against it, often swinging in the entire opposite direction, creating the opposite wound in our children.
Then our children grow up, judge how we were mothers to them, and swing once again in the opposite direction.
I had a client who felt her mother was too lenient and didn’t offer her enough structure in her life. Her mother, by contrast, grew up in an extremely controlling environment and attempted to be more open and accepting in her relationship with her daughter. Both extremes were done with the best intentions from the mothers, who were doing the best they could given their own personal programming and perceptions.
When we release any judgments we may have about how we have suffered due to the actions of our mothers or other females, we eliminate the need to perpetuate the wound.
This obviously is also relevant to those who are male. Wounds are wounds, no matter what gender you identify with. When the gender identity is not clear, this wound becomes even more profound.
Healing wounds that have been hiding dormant for generations is what we are being called to right now. Identifying the specific wounds may be the hardest part. Once you identify a wound, you can more easily shift the pattern.
I invite you to join me in this journey of spiritual evolution. I am looking forward to receiving more wisdom from the Ancient Ones. I am excited to be offering my voice to get the message out there.

I read your references to Mary Magdalenea with great interest. I'm currently on a journey of reading about her (5 books sitting on my table). "Mary Magdalene Revealed" is fascinating as is "The Gospel of Mary" (if only it was intact).
She has briefly visited and spoken to me. A trip to the land seems to be in order.
Also, I appreciated what you wrote about healing wounds after taking a different path from someone. And that someone needing to heal his or her wounds and also find a new path. Sadly, it may be more difficult for one than that other, and that person should seek someone who can help to heal those wounds.
Thank you, Joy, for another thought provoking article.
